Aim of the Game

“Spelling Dab It” is a quick and engaging spelling game that challenges players to identify incorrectly spelled words among a group of correctly spelled ones. The objective is to be the first player to identify and dab the incorrectly spelled word.

What You Need

  2. Dabbing Tool: Provide a dabbing tool, such as a bingo dabber or a pen.
  3. Players: Gather a group of players to participate in the game.

How to Play

  1. Prepare the Spelling Words:
    • Write a list of spelling words on small pieces of paper. Most of these words should be spelled correctly, but one word should be intentionally misspelled.
  2. Mix the Words:
    • Shuffle the small pieces of paper with the spelling words to mix them up.
  3. Draw a Word:
    • Players take turns drawing one small piece of paper from the shuffled pile.
  4. Identify the Misspelled Word:
    • Players examine the words on the piece of paper they have drawn. They should quickly determine whether the word is spelled correctly or incorrectly.
  5. Dab the Incorrectly Spelled Word:
