This is an easy game to set up and play but a nice one for practising spellings.
⭕️ Each player has 5 of the spelling words and is given one minute to look at them.
⭕️ Swap spelling words and put them face down in front of each player.
⭕️ Choose which player will go first and the other player will choose a spelling card and say it aloud to player one.
⭕️ Player one must then spell that correctly before they can place their nought or cross.
⭕️ If they spell the word correctly, they can draw their nought or cross in one of the spaces and if they get it wrong they lose their turn (they could write the word in the box as well).
⭕️ Play continues in this way until one player draws three in a row.
