Aim of the Game:
Another nice simple set up to help children understand/revise comparing numbers with the greater than/less than and equals symbol.
What do you need?
- Milk bottle tops (my favourite resource) with the numbers 0-9 on
- A whiteboard or piece of paper.
How to Play:
- Write some number sentences (similar to the picture) with some gaps in where digits are missing.
- The children simply need to add a digit to each of the numbers to make the number sentence correct.
- They could then have a go at creating their own missing number sentences to challenge a partner.
