Feelings Find!

Feelings Find!

Aim of the Game:

I thought this might be a good activity as children are back at school and probably feeling a mixture of emotions. So this is a good game to work on vocabulary and synonyms (different words that have the same meaning) but also one that might help to encourage some discussions about how they’re feeling.

What do you need?

  • I’ve made 4 characters, each feeling a different emotion, and just drawn a stick man on paper and added their feeling above.
  • Then I found four synonyms for each word and wrote them on pieces of paper.

How to Play:

😊 Turn the word cards face down and each player needs one feelings character.
😊 Take turns to turn a word card over and see if it is a synonym of your feelings character.
😊 If it is, place it on your feelings character card and if not, return it face down to the same place on the table.
😊 The first person to find all their feeling synonyms wins.

We might all need a game like this this week!
