This is a bit of a Halloween inspired game to help children learn their 8 times table but it can be used all year round too.

Two dice
How to Play:
Draw the body of a spider and 8 circles (4 on each side of the body). In the circles write a multiple of 8 (number in the 8 times table) between 2x and 12x. You can play this for any times table you are practising.
This would be best as a two player game so each player would need a spider’s body.
The aim of the game is to be the first person to put all the legs on the spider.
Roll the dice and add the numbers. If you have that multiple of 8 in one of the circles, you can draw the leg from the body to the circle on the spider. If you don’t have the multiple of 8 you roll again.
Keep rolling as fast as you can until you have found all of the spiders legs and drawn them on!
