I’ve used this game before to help with times tables but here’s another way you can use the Gone Fishing game; this time to help with adding and subtracting money.
There are two ways to play this game:
🎣 Race to Zero – each player starts with £5.00 and as they fish they must subtract the amount on the bottom of each fish. The first player to get to zero (or as close as possible once all the fish have been removed) is the winner.
🎣 Most Expensive Fish – each player fishes and they add up the amount on the bottom of each fish. Once all the fish have been caught, the player with the highest total wins.
