Multiple Flower

Multiple Flower

Aim of the Game:

I’ve just thought of a nice spring themed game that will help with learning times tables. I’ve used a paper plate and a cupcake case to make a flower and then used foam sheets for the petals but it could just as easily be made with paper.

What do you need?

  • You just need 11 petals with each number of your chosen times table on (without 1x)
  • two dice
  • a paper plate and foam petals or paper with it drawn and cut out
  • a cupcake case

How to Play:

Each player will need their own flower, petals and dice.

🌼 Roll the dice and add up the number of spots.
🌼 Find that multiple of your chosen times table, for example I rolled 2 on my first go so I need to find the petal with 2 x 7 on and add it to my flower.
🌼 Keep rolling your dice until you have all 6 petals on your flower.
🌼 The first player to put all 6 petals on their flower wins.

You could easily adapt this to practise mental addition/subtraction too.

I’d love to know if you give it a go!
