This activity uses Megablocks for a fun practical way of learning and practising times tables.
What do you need?
Megablocks (or you could use Duplo or Lego blocks)
Whiteboard pen (or Sharpie if you want the numbers to be permanent)
How to Play:
Lay all the blocks on the floor.
The challenge is to build a tower of blocks with the correct multiple and product on.
This could start off without any pressure and as children become more confident they can see how quickly they can build the tower and try to improve their time.
