Here’s a fun way to practise times tables and can be played in two ways.
What do you need?
A sheet of card with 12 circles drawn on it and two counters.
The times table you’re going to practise.
How to Play:
Flick the counter into one of the circles and shout out what the answer to that times table question is.
OR …
Call out an answer to a times table question and children have to flick the counter to whatever multiple of that times table it is, e.g. if practising the 7 times table, call out 49 and the children should flick the counter to 7x.
