Aim of the Game: In “2D Shapes Battleships,” players engage in a thrilling battle of wits to locate and sink their opponent’s hidden 2D shape battleships before their own are discovered. The ultimate goal is to strategically deduce the location of the opponent’s ships and sink them one by one, emerging victorious as the first player to find and destroy all of their opponent’s ships.

What You Need:

  • 2 Players: This game requires two players to compete head-to-head in a battle of hidden ships.
  • Printable Grid: Each player needs their own printable grid, featuring a “My Ships” section where they will strategically place their ships.
  • Pen or Pencil: Use a writing utensil to mark hits, misses, and sunk ships on the grid during gameplay.

  • Year 3 – draw 2-D shapes
  • Year 4 – compare and classify geometric shapes, including quadrilaterals and triangles, based on their properties and sizes
