I’ve adapted this from the classic gameshow ‘Play Your Cards Right’ but with a times tables twist.
What do you need?
Card or pieces of paper with each question in your chosen times table written on them.
A board
Magnets or blutac
How to Play:
Shuffle the cards well and lay out 6, face down on the board.
The gameshow host turns over the first card and asks the contestants to shout out the answer.
They must then decide if they think the next card will be higher or lower than the first one.
Once decided, turn the next card over and ask the contestants to shout out the answer. If they chose higher or lower correctly, they continue playing, if not the game is over.
Repeat choosing higher or lower until you have either turned over all the cards on the board or you guessed incorrectly (I lost after just two goes)!
Remember to channel your inner Bruce Forsyth if you are the gameshow host! Good game, good game!
