Connect 4 Times Tables

Aim of the Game:

This game focusses on learning and practising times tables, using the game Connect Four.

What do you need?

• Connect Four game – link to one here
• Game board labels – download here

How to Play:

• Two players pick what colour they are going to be.
• Each take turns to place a counter into a section of the game board, with the aim of achieving 4 in a row, horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
• The added addition is that the players have to calculate the times table question that they make when they place their counter.
• You can add in another rule, that if they answer their question incorrectly, they have to miss a turn.
