A fast paced and fun game to practice spellings! So much better than look, cover, write, and check!
Aim of the Game:
To be the first player to ‘wipeout’ all of the letters in their spelling word and re-write it.
What Do You Need?
- Whiteboard/Plastic sleeve with plain paper in
- Dice or pieces of paper with numbers written (8 letter words needs numbers 1-8)
- Whiteboard rubber
How To Play:
- Write spelling word, with letters spaced out, and numbers written above each letter.
- Roll the dice/pick a number and whichever letter is picked, the player rubs out the corresponding numbered letter.
- Players continue rolling the dice and rubbing out letters.
- If they roll a number they have already rubbed out, roll again.
- Once each letter has been wiped out, rewrite the word correctly.
- The winner is the player who wipes out and rewrites their word first.
