This is a fast paced times table game using duplo blocks (or anything you can make a tower with and write on) and two dice. The aim of the game is to be the first player to build the tower in order of multiples in the times table (from 1x to 12x).
🧱 Choose your times table and each player needs to write every multiple of that times table (up to 12x) on each block.
🧱 Each player starts with the 1x block.
🧱 Players can choose if they’d like to roll one dice or two on each roll (can differ on each roll) and, on go, can start rolling.
🧱 On their first roll, they need to roll a 2. Keep quickly rolling the dice until they roll the number they need (they don’t need to take it in turns). Once they have rolled this, they must find 2x their chosen times table and build it on the tower.
🧱 Next they must roll a 3 and once rolled, can find 3x the times table and build it.
🧱 The first player to build their tower, in order, up to 12x wins!
This can be played on your own as a game to practise a times table or for a more fast paced game, play with 2 or more players.
